The Gray County Oral History Project began in 2003 with a donation to the Cimarron City Library from the Hilker family. The donation enabled the Library to purchase equipment to record and produce the histories. It also provided funding for a transcriptionist. The project highlights life in Cimarron and Gray County in the early to middle twentieth century.
The Cimarron City Library has a hard copy of all transcripts and audio cassette tapes on file. For more information, please contact the library.
